Sister Linda Gaupin

Sister Linda Gaupin is the director of liturgy at St. John Vianney Parish in Orlando, Fla. She prepares all of the liturgical rites of the Church and the liturgical seasons for the parish’s faithful. She also is responsible for the formation and preparation of the liturgical ministers, ongoing liturgical formation for the parish and liturgical environment for worship space. In addition, Sister Linda oversees baptismal preparation.

After graduating from La Roche, Sister Linda pursued advanced degrees in both liturgy and catechesis, which led to a doctorate from the Catholic University of America. She also worked as associate director of liturgy at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Throughout the years, she has published numerous articles and books on sacramental catechesis for use in parishes.

“During my time at La Roche, most of the students were from religious communities,” Sister Linda said, “Since then, I have enjoyed meeting many of these people who have excelled in their profession as I traveled in the United States.”
