High School and Transfer Students Invited to La Roche University’s Summer Nights

PITTSBURGH, May 27, 2021 — Throughout June and July, La Roche University will host Summer Nights for high school students, transfer students and their families to explore campus.

Summer Nights will feature a campus tour, an overview of more than 50 career-focused majors, and an opportunity for visitors to learn about financial aid, study abroad, and student clubs and activities.

The University will host Summer Nights from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fisher Multipurpose Room of the Wright Library. Visit laroche.edu/summernights to register for one of the following dates:

  • Tuesday, June 8
  • Thursday, June 24
  • Tuesday, July 13
  • Wednesday, July 21
  • Thursday, July 29

Hope Schiffgens, executive director for enrollment at La Roche, said, “Seeing campus in person is an opportunity to imagine yourself as part of the La Roche community. Visitors at Summer Nights will receive all the information they need to know about majors and career paths, student life, merit-based scholarships and unique study abroad experiences.”

Ms. Schiffgens added that it is not too late for those looking to start this fall. Financial aid, scholarships and housing are available. Campus operations and face-to-face instruction will resume at full capacity for the fall 2021 semester on Aug. 23.

La Roche adheres to COVID-19 safety measures that align with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Allegheny County Health Department. Temperature screenings and face coverings while indoors are required.
