Simulation Technicians - Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP)

La Roche University continues to enhance and expand health programs, and is seeking candidates for part time Simulation Technicians in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) program. The positions will be based at La Roche’s main campus located in the North Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and schedules use, signing out, and movement of simulation lab equipment
  • Maintains lab inventory, ensuring the safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Monitors and assures appropriate standards of lab cleanliness, provides for equipment and mannikin maintenance, repair, and replacement
  • Oversees simulation lab information and technology support
  • Programs scenarios into software
  • Operates software during simulation and provides audiovisual support for simulation
  • Models professional standards including customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, and attendance

Education/Qualifications:

  • CRNA license required.
  • Simulation experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with office equipment such as telephones, copiers, computers
