La Roche University, a member of the NCAA – Division III, invites applications for the position of part-time Assistant Baseball Coach. This part-time position helps the Head Baseball coach with regard to coaching and recruitment of baseball players. As Assistant Baseball Coach, he/she aids the head coach in all aspects of the program. Must be able to throw quality BP. This position is a contracted, flat-rate position. Additional paid opportunities from camps, clinics, and lessons will be available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the teaching of the sport of baseball to student athletes at La Roche University. Specific emphasis on pitching, catching, hitting, and strength and conditioning.
- Assist with the evaluation, recruitment, and retention of baseball players at La Roche University.
- Assist with campus visits for recruitment purposes of prospective students and their families following the guidelines of the AMCC conference and NCAA Division III.
- Assist with daily planning, organization and supervision of practices and competitions.
- Contribute to the baseball program social media presence.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous collegiate or professional playing or coaching experience required.
- Baseball knowledge and experience working with a specific position area is desired.
- Valid Driver’s License.
