Message from the Director

Welcome to La Roche University and our residence halls! It is our pleasure to have you as a member of our residential community. Our residence halls are a vibrant and exciting part of campus life here. Developing/building communities along with the respect for the rich diversity that we have here at La Roche University, paralleled with our Catholic Traditions, is the cornerstone of campus life.

The diversity of our staff and student body provides opportunities for personal growth while here at La Roche University. Our residence hall program is designed to provide you with opportunities for cultural, recreational, social and academic growth. Additionally, there are programs available that will enable you to develop leadership skills.

Being a Resident Assistant (RA) or joining our Residence Hall Association are excellent opportunities for you to utilize your leadership skills, and to develop a positive and productive community environment in your residence hall. Our RA Staff will be discussing with you the wide range of opportunities available to you while you are living on La Roche's campus. There are approximately 40 registered student organizations for you to choose from to become more involved in campus life.

The staff members who work for La Roche's Office of Housing and Residence Life are committed to helping you resolve any concerns which may arise during your time here at La Roche. Professional staff members, including myself and a campus minister, live in every one of our halls.

Along with our RAs, our staff is here to serve as a tremendous resource and have been trained to assist you in a wide variety of situations. Please do not hesitate to contact me or any of my staff in our offices located in the main level of Bold Hall II if you need assistance.

We hope that your time with us will be enriching and enjoyable and that we can support you in achieving your goals while here at La Roche University.
