La Roche University announced today that it has earned the 2026–2027 Military Friendly® Schools designation at the Silver level and has also been recognized as a Military Spouse Friendly® School.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly® Schools designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 3,200 institutions participated in the Military Friendly® survey. Of the first list released for 2026–2027, 878 schools received the Military Friendly® designation, and 730 schools were recognized as Military Spouse Friendly® Schools (2026–2027 Military Friendly® Schools Data Snapshot, MilitaryFriendly.com).
When Tim Robison met his late wife, Judy, she was a single mother and nurse working full time for the UPMC Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, picking up home-health shifts on weekends, and spending her Saturday nights at the former South Side Hospital.
