Adjunct Professor – Mathematics

La Roche University is currently seeking candidates for the position of Adjunct Professor – Mathematics to teach applicable courses to undergraduate courses at its campus located in the North Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. This position, with the opportunity to teach traditional courses, is set to begin with the Fall 2024 term.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality instruction for new and continuing undergraduate students in Mathematics and related courses.
  • Teaching assignments include Lecture and utilization of other educational tools and methods.
  • Provide instruction for approximately 15 weeks per course.
  • Evaluate student progress through coursework, papers, exams, and related assignments; provide appropriate feedback.
  • Follow established teaching procedures and protocols within the Academic Affairs Division.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Prior teaching experience at the college/university level
  • Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas
