• Incorporate knowledge from the liberal arts, sciences and nursing as the basis for nursing practice that is culturally competent, fiscally responsible, and socially relevant
• Integrate nursing research and evidence-based practice in to professional nursing

• Examine the leadership role of the professional nurse in practice, research, education, and service
