From Acceptance to Adventure

Once you're accepted into a Study Abroad + Study USA program, we'll be with you every step of the way as you begin your exciting journey!

To make sure you're fully prepared, there are two essential pre-departure sessions you need to attend. These sessions provide you with essential information to ensure a smooth and successful experience abroad.

Required Pre-Departure Sessions

Before you head off, you must attend both From Acceptance to Adventure: What's Next? sessions:

  • Gearing Up for Your Short-Term Study Abroad + Study USA Course
  • Health, Safety and DEI Abroad

These mandatory sessions provided the knowledge and resources you'll need before you depart.

Important Details

  • These sessions are only offered once, so make sure you attend on the scheduled dates.
  • If you miss a session, please reach out to your SASU Coordinator at studyabroad@laroche.edu to schedule a makeup meeting and complete any required paperwork.

Stay Informed

Keep an eye on upcoming sessions and events by checking the Study Abroad + Study USA bulletin board outside the Center for Student Development. You'll also receive updates through our monthly newsletter, sent straight to your La Roche email.

Health Insurance Policy

All La Roche students studying outside of the United States will be covered by a Travel Health Insurance Policy. The cost is covered by the University, unless otherwise stated.
