Ready to take your education beyond the classroom? La Roche University's Study Abroad + Study USA program lets you travel, study and immerse yourself in new cultures—whether you're exploring abroad or discovering something new closer to home.

A short-term SASU course is a unique opportunity to enrich your undergraduate experience, gain valuable cross-cultural insights and broaden your perspective before you graduate.

Short-term courses: With approximately six to 10-day sessions, courses easily fit into your busy schedule.

Convenience: With courses offered during Spring Break, May and Summer, you can travel and study without disruption to your typical class schedule.

Variety: Travel within the United States or explore international sites. Course destinations change each year.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Have a declared major
  • Maintain full-time status
  • Be in good standing with Residence Life and Student Accounts

Financial Details

What's Covered

La Roche covers the cost of travel, accommodations and most meals, so you can focus on your experience. However, students are responsible for costs like passport fees, Visas, souvenirs and any other personal expenses.

Deposits

To secure your spot, we ask for a refundable deposit of $800. This deposit is refunded once you complete the course, but it is non-refundable if you cancel or do not complete the course.

Passport Requirements

You'll need to have a valid passport. Be sure to verify your passport status and cover any associated costs.

Visa Requirements

If needed, you'll also have to obtain the appropriate tourist Visa for your destination. You're responsible for any costs related to your Visa.
