First Year Students

If you plan to attend La Roche University after high school, you should apply as a first-year student. 

Your application gives us the opportunity to learn about your academic performance in high school, and to better understand your goals and plans for college.

How to Apply

What's Required

These items are required for your application to LRU, so double-check that you complete and submit them. 
  • Official high school transcript

What’s Optional

These items are not required to apply to LRU, but they provide insight to our Admissions team as we consider your application.

  • SAT or ACT scores*

Send scores electronically using SAT code 2379 or ACT code 3607.

*Certain majors and programs have specific test score and GPA requirements.

  • Letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher*
  • Essay: In 250 words or less, please tell us why earning a college degree from La Roche is important to you, and why you believe a La Roche education will help you to achieve your life goals.

*Required for test-optional applicants.

Important Deadlines

You can apply to La Roche at any time, but you’ll want to submit a complete application by the dates below for the best financial aid and housing options.

  • Fall Semester Deadline: Nov. 1
  • Spring Semester Deadline: Dec. 15

Once you submit a complete application, you’ll receive an admissions decision within 10 to 14 days.
