College Credit in High School

Discover what college life is really like – all while saving time and money.

At La Roche University it's easy to earn college credit while you're still in high school. By participating in one of our dual enrollment programs, you can get a head start on your college career, receive discount on per-credit tuition, and possibly reduce the time it takes to complete your degree.

How to Begin

La Roche offers two pathways for you to take college-level courses while in high school. Select your program of interest to find out more and apply.

Scholar Program

La Roche partners with a number of Western Pennsylvania high schools to enable sophomore, junior and senior high school students to earn credit toward a college degree. Through this program, you can take college-level courses in your own partnered high school's classroom.

Scholar Credit Initiative Program (SCIP)

This dual enrollment program allows you to earn up to 15 credits toward your college education at La Roche or other participating institutions across the country. Take classes online or on the LRU campus.

College Preparatory Ballet Program

This program allows you to complete dance courses for college credit while you're still in high school.
