Alumni Association Board
The La Roche University Alumni Association Board serves as the governing body of the Alumni Association and as an advisory council to the University on all alumni matters and programming.
Board members serve three-year terms and are expected to serve as ambassadors of the University and its mission, actively participate in Board meetings, committees and programs, and collaborate with the Office of Alumni Relations to develop programming and volunteer opportunities relevant to La Roche alumni and aligned with the University’s mission.
The Board meets twice per year in January and May. Standing committees meet throughout the year and include:
- Communications: Advises on all communications sent to alumni, to include content, medium and frequency.
- Events & Programming: Advises and helps execute on- and off- campus alumni events and programs.
- Governance: Recruits and onboards new Board members and reviews Alumni Association Bylaws, recommending changes as needed.
- Philanthropy: Advises on fundraising and stewardship initiatives to increase alumni giving and donor retention.
- Volunteer Engagement: Advises on and helps to implement volunteer initiatives, connecting La Roche alumni with current students and fellow alumni.
