Counseling & Health Services

A JED Campus member, La Roche University is committed to meeting the growing physical, psychological and behavioral needs of our students by providing person-centered treatment in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The primary goal of the Counseling & Health Services office is to support the wellbeing of currently enrolled La Roche students with high-quality, readily accessible health care, using in-person and telehealth modalities when necessary.

We adhere to best practices as well as legal and ethical standards within our respective fields, and we utilize evidence-based interventions to serve La Roche students. Our office works in collaboration with campus partners and community partners to create and maintain a supportive, professional, and healthy work environment for students and staff.

Services

  •  Mental health care, including free private counseling sessions.
  • Access to psychiatric services including medication management and psychiatric evaluations. 
  • Health Services locations nearby to campus, with transportation provided.

JED Campus Member

LRU is a JED Campus member. A nationally recognized nonprofit, the JED Foundation protects emotional health and prevents suicide for the nation’s teens and young adults. The Foundation partners with high schools and colleges to strengthen mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs and systems.
