The same policy is followed with respect to all employees, regardless of rank or classification.

The University is unalterably opposed to any form of harassment which is defined as any word, gesture, picture or symbol (verbal or written) that is commonly understood to convey hatred or contempt, or to demean, alarm or abuse an individual (or group) because of his/her sex, race, color, handicap, religion, sexual orientation or national and ethnic origin.
