What do you enjoy most about performing?
When I am performing, I feel so free. Everything going on in my life disappears. A piece of work could be two minutes or 14 minutes, but during those moments when I am performing, it is just myself and the dance.
Also, I love the impact that I can have on just one person in the audience. If I can make a difference with my performance, then I feel accomplished.
What is your proudest moment at LRU?
My proudest moments have been performing throughout our campus, whether in the Zappala Campus Center, the Motherhouse or Magdalen Chapel. I love getting to share my love of dance with others and showing the entire La Roche community how hard I and my fellow dancers work. I also am proud to be a BCB2 Company Artist.
How would you describe La Roche to someone who isn’t a student yet?
La Roche is a school that is inclusive, tight knit and the place to be if you are looking for a small community with many opportunities to be yourself.
Why did you choose La Roche?
I chose La Roche because I knew it would be a place that would be nurturing and allow me to grow as an individual. When I auditioned for the dance program, I knew that being at La Roche would give me the chance to develop my dancing in ways that no other program offered.
