SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ASPECTS OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS (EXSP2015)

This course will provide students an opportunity to discover social, political and cultural aspects that impact one’s ability to engage in healthy behaviors including regular physical activity and healthy nutrition. Students will learn not only how individual choices influence one’s decision to engage in healthy behaviors, but also the institutional, environmental and political forces that are involved.
