Professional Development

As a La Roche student, you have access to numerous professional development events on campus and beyond. Throughout the year we offer networking and interview opportunities hosted by valuable employer partners as well as our office. We also provide insight on all the Career-Ready Competencies through events, workshops, and presentations offered to students through classroom presentations, small groups, student organizations, and campus-wide.

La Roche is a proud partner in the Western Pennsylvania Career Services Association (WestPACS) and the Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium (PERC) which create even greater opportunities for students to network and interview with top employers, and gain knowledge and information from our esteemed consortium partners.

Redhawk Study Series

Student Academic Support Services hosts a series of homework-help nights each semester. The three parts of the series - Redhawk Rise, Redhawk Refresh, and Redhawk Review - are timed to correspond with the start of the semester, Midterm Exam Week, and Final Exam Week, respectively. At each homework help night, Subject Tutors and Writers' Center Tutors are available for two hours to assist students with exam prep, study strategies, and questions with their assignments and projects. No appointment is needed!
