Human Resources Generalist
This highly popular HRM certificate provides you with specific knowledge and skills in human resources and can aid you in an entry-level HR role. The certificate provides instruction in the essential elements of the HR Generalist’s job: recruitment, total rewards and management.
HR Consultant
In either an internal or external consulting role, the HR Consultant can address business needs such as staffing, training and development, employee performance and employee relations.
This 12-credit certificate gives you the ability to choose two additional HRMT courses that best meet your consulting interests.
Strategic HR Professional
This certificate is designed primarily for the practicing HR professional or business leader who wants to make an impact on organizational effectiveness and demonstrate proficiency as an influential leader.
Self-Design in HRM The Self-Design Certificate allows you to work with a counselor to create your own 12-credit certificate in ways that meet your specific educational objectives and career goals.
Admissions Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or proof of equivalent education from an international institution
- Quality Point Average (QPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in upper-division undergraduate

- Satisfactory completion (grade of “C” or better) of two three-credit undergraduate prerequisite courses in Human Resources Administration and Organizational Behavior*, or one year of HR experience with an overview essay listing experiences and responsibilities
*You must complete the undergraduate prerequisite courses within the first two semesters of graduate study.
