La Roche Center for Lifelong Learning to Host Spring Preview on March 10

PITTSBURGH, March 1, 2022 – La Roche University’s Center for Lifelong Learning invites adults 50 and better to explore upcoming courses at a Spring Preview on Thursday, March 10.

The event will begin at 1 p.m. in the Palumbo Science Center, Room 101 at La Roche’s campus in the North Hills. Guests will learn about the various noncredit, short-term courses starting this March as part of Adventures in Lifelong Learning (ALL), a membership-based program for retirement-aged individuals.

Jennifer Engel, executive director of La Roche’s Center for Lifelong Learning, said, “Participants of Adventures in Lifelong Learning find a relaxed environment in which they can rediscover the joy of learning without assignments, grades and exams. The courses offer shared intellectual experiences and opportunities for intellectual, social, physical and spiritual growth.”

The event will feature an overview of ALL membership benefits, including:

  • Unlimited number of ALL courses
  • A La Roche student ID
  • The option to audit up to one undergraduate course per term
  • Discounts at La Roche’s cafeteria and bookstore
  • In-person and remote Wright Library privileges
  • One-time lectures and events
  • Travel opportunities
