Meet Design + Film at La Roche Scheduled for Feb. 20

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 24, 2023 – La Roche University invites high school students to its annual Meet Design + Film event on Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hosted by the La Roche Design Division, the event is for students in grades 10 through 12 who are interested in film, photography, graphic design, or interior architecture and design. Students will test their own creative skills by participating in a hands-on design or film project. The event also will feature firsthand accounts from current students, faculty and professionals about opportunities in each field.

Lisa Kamphaus, chair of the La Roche Design Division, said, “Meet Design + Film is a unique opportunity for high school students. This all-day event offers a firsthand look at La Roche design studios and the chance to interact with film and design students, faculty and industry-connected professionals.”

Students must preregister online by Feb. 10. Space is limited, and priority is given to high school juniors and seniors. First-time visitors who tour campus earn a one-time $250 visit grant toward their first semester tuition.
