La Roche University Announces Summer Class Schedule

PITTSBURGH, March 29, 2023 – Starting May 22 La Roche University will offer summer courses at a reduced tuition rate with no fees.

The summer tuition rate is $580 per credit for undergraduate courses, and summer internships are available at a further discount. Graduate tuition rates are not reduced, but fees are similarly waived. English as a Second Language (ESL) tuition is $303 per credit.

Limited, discounted housing at $210 per week also is available to undergraduate students.

Summer classes include a robust selection of traditional and online courses, with multiple sessions running from six to 10 weeks. The 2023 sessions include:

  • May 22 to June 30 – Six-week session
  • May 22 to July 14 – Eight-week session
  • May 22 to July 28 – 10-week session

Classes are open to students who want to minimize their fall workload, including adult learners who seek career advancement. All students are expected to have completed the established course prerequisites, as indicted on the schedule of classes. Academic credits earned will appear on an official La Roche transcript. Visiting undergraduate students are required to seek the permission of their home registrar to ensure that courses taken are transferable to their home institution.

High school students may earn college credit through La Roche’s Scholar Credit Initiative Program (SCIP) to receive a discount on per-credit costs and get acclimated to the college learning environment sooner. Classes are offered online and on campus, and include a wide variety of courses in history, English, languages and more.
