LRU Ranks Among The Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges for 2024”

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 24, 2023 –  The Princeton Review, one of the nation’s leading education services companies, has ranked La Roche University a Best Regional College for the 20th consecutive year.

La Roche is one of 150 schools listed as a Best Mid-Atlantic College in The Princeton Review’s 2024 Best Colleges: Region by Region web feature.

Interim President Howard J. Ishiyama, Ph.D., said, “Our consistent recognition by The Princeton Review affirms our reputation as a premier liberal arts institution preparing students for success on the global stage. We are proud to be recognized for providing a high-quality education, outstanding faculty and an overall rewarding college experience.”

Top colleges are determined by The Princeton Review’s 85-question survey which asks students to rate their professors, administrators, financial aid, campus amenities, school services and other aspects of life at their colleges, and to report on their campus and community experiences.

“We created our rankings to provide a resource for college applicants that helps them answer what may well be the toughest question in their college search: ‘What’s the best school for me?’” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. “Our selection of colleges for this book reflects our high opinion of the schools. We recommend each one as academically outstanding. Our ranking lists reflect the opinions of the school’s students—their customers—and their reports to us about their campus experiences.”

The Princeton Review is a leading tutoring, test prep and college admissions services company. Each year the company helps millions of college- and graduate school-bound students achieve their education and career goals through its: online and in-person courses delivered by a network of more than 4,000 teachers and tutors; online resources; more than 150 print and digital books published by Penguin Random House; and dozens of categories of school rankings.
