PITTSBURGH, Nov. 18, 2024 – La Roche University and the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) have expanded their articulation agreement, providing CCAC students with a streamlined, cost-effective pathway to a bachelor’s degree.
Effective immediately, the new agreement eliminates administrative hurdles and offers the following key benefits to CCAC students who have earned an associate degree and transfer to La Roche for their bachelor’s degree:
“This partnership with CCAC reflects our commitment to making higher education more accessible and efficient for students,” said Howard Ishiyama, Ph.D., La Roche provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs. “By honoring CCAC’s core courses and offering financial savings, we are able to help students achieve their academic and career goals with fewer obstacles.”
The expanded agreement allows CCAC students to transfer up to 90 credits toward a wide range of La Roche undergraduate programs, including Cybersecurity & Forensics, Graphic Design, Health Science and Medical Imaging. Students will complete the remaining credits required for a bachelor’s degree at La Roche.
“We appreciate La Roche University’s warm welcome to our graduates, and we are excited to continue developing academic pathways that allow more students to start their journeys at CCAC and transfer seamlessly to La Roche. Together we are creating valuable opportunities that support student success while making higher education more affordable and accessible,” said CCAC Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Stephen Wells.
