Coordinator of Global Education
La Roche University welcomes candidates to apply for the position of Coordinator of Global Education. This role supports the operational and strategic efforts of the Division of Global Education while helping advance the University’s commitment to internationalization, intercultural engagement, and global learning opportunities for both domestic and international students. Working closely with the Vice President for Global Education, the Coordinator will assist in the development and coordination of international partnerships, study abroad initiatives, cultural programming, and student support services that foster a globally connected campus community.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about creating meaningful cross-cultural experiences while building strong relationships across diverse communities. This individual will contribute to initiatives that enhance student engagement, strengthen international partnerships, and support the University’s mission of preparing students to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.

GENERAL DUTIES:
- Support the operational and strategic initiatives of the Division of Global Education and provide administrative support to the Vice President for Global Education.
- Coordinate international partnerships, study abroad initiatives, global engagement activities, and student support programs.
- Assist with international delegation visits, cultural programming, orientations, workshops, and campus events.
- Support domestic and international student engagement initiatives and global learning opportunities.
- Coordinate communications, scheduling, travel logistics, reports, presentations, and partnership-related documentation.
- Collaborate with campus partners and external organizations to support institutional internationalization efforts.
- Maintain records, databases, agreements, and operational materials related to Global Education programs and services.
- Assist with recruitment, outreach, event planning, and operational logistics for Global Education initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, international education, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in higher education administration, international education, program coordination, office management, or related areas.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard administrative technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events and international programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in international education, study abroad programming, international student support, partnership coordination, or executive-level administrative support.
- Experience with event planning, cross-cultural communication, and global engagement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires stationary work in an office environment, walking short and long distances on campus, and the ability to perform fine motor tasks such as typing. Occasional travel and attendance at campus or off-campus events may be required.
