INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS

This course introduces and familiarizes the student with the diversity and complexity of a variety of justice systems found throughout the world. Based on history, culture, and other influences, the justice systems of various countries reflect distinctive national priorities, political influences, and forms of government. The debate concerning due process versus crime control is viewed from the international perspective. These issues will be examined through the use of inductive and deductive reasoning.
