Cost of Attendance

Navigate through the drop-down links on this page for important information.

Think of the Cost of Attendance as your personalized student budget for the academic year, established before any financial aid is applied. This budget is the basis for determining your financial need and the types of aid you may qualify for, such as grants, scholarships, and loans. The Cost of Attendance is calculated using averages from surveys, market analysis, and other research. It includes:
  • Direct expenses
    • These are the charges you’ll see directly billed by the college through Student Accounts. Examples include tuition, fees, and if you live on campus, your food and housing.
  • Indirect expenses
    • These are estimated expenses you might incur while attending college but are not billed by the University. These include items like books and supplies, transportation, and personal spending.
