HISTORY OF EUROPEAN DIPLOMACY

The internationally accepted style of diplomacy had its origins in Italy in the late 1400’s. Emphasis is placed on the mechanisms of diplomacy as well as its use by European powers: classical diplomacy in the 19th century and the impact of that system on other areas of the globe.
