Nursing
Entering nursing students must be computer literate and possess a Windows laptop or computer with program-defined specifications. The Nursing programs are designed to utilize the latest technology in teaching and learning for more efficient use of faculty and students' time.
The computer must be capable of Internet access and transmission of email, course content, multimedia, case experience logs and other educational content. Students are expected to access course syllabi, outlines and handouts on the nursing website or learning management system.
The computer specifications are subject to be updated periodically, as the capabilities of technology advance. Students should review these specifications prior to entering the Nursing program.

- Operating systems requirements: Windows 11; no other operating systems are acceptable
- CPU Type: Intel core i5 minimum or AMD Ryzen 5 minimum
- Memory requirements: 16 GB minimum
- Microsoft Office 365 (Available to students at no charge. After students activate their La Roche email they can download Office 365 from microsoft365.com.)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (free)
- Google Chrome (free)
- Mozilla Firefox (free)
- Antivirus software as approved by La Roche (must be kept up-to-date).
