The conference will bring together educators and campus professionals to share innovative, student-centered approaches to teaching and learning through presentations, posters, and interactive discussions. Topics will include teaching, learning, student success, assessment, technology, mentoring, and related areas.

Explore MoreThe La Roche University community gathers for the Mass of the Holy Spirit, a cherished tradition that marks the beginning of the academic year with prayer and reflection. The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Mark A. Eckman of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, with La Roche University Chaplain Father Peter Horton concelebrating. All members of the La Roche community, regardless of religious tradition, faith, or belief, are warmly welcomed and encouraged to attend as we gather to mark the beginning of the academic year together. To encourage participation, classes scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. will be canceled so that students and faculty may attend the Mass. Immediately following the Mass, all are invited to a community cookout on the Huber Academic Center Lawn. We hope you’ll join us for food, fellowship, and the opportunity to celebrate the start of the new academic year together.
