La Roche University Earns National Recognition for Social Mobility from U.S. News & World Report

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 22, 2026 – La Roche University has once again earned national recognition for social mobility, ranking No. 34 among Regional Universities in the North in the 2027 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.

In addition to its social mobility ranking, La Roche is included among U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 Best Regional Universities in the North.

The social mobility ranking evaluates how well colleges and universities graduate students who received federal Pell Grants, which typically are awarded to students from lower-income households.

“At La Roche, expanding access to higher education is only the beginning. Our responsibility is to ensure that students have the support, experiences, and opportunities they need to succeed through graduation and beyond,” said La Roche President Christina Clark, Ph.D. “This recognition reflects our commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers and lives of purpose.”
